WhatsApp Chatbot

Acting as a real-time interface, the chatbot responds instantly and presents users with clear options to select the purpose of their message. By guiding through pre-defined paths, the bot ensures that we collect complete, structured data every time. 

The users are prompted with two options, namely: careers and sales.

Job applications and ATS Integration: If the user selects careers, the chatbot asks for their basic information, which includes a resume. This data is captured and passed to a backend service built using Python and FastAPI. The system supports file uploads in common formats like .pdf, .doc, and .docx, which are processed through a file management pipeline. An internal parser parses the resume to extract structured fields, which are then validated and formatted. It is sent to ATS, where a complete candidate profile is created entirely without manual input, automatically populating fields like name, experience, skills, and contact details.

Sales Lead Capture: If the user selects sales, the chatbot prompts them to share key details such as their name, company, contact information, and a brief description of their requirement. This data is also routed to the same Python + FastAPI backend, validated, and stored in our Lead Management System, which shares its backend with the contact forms on the Squareboat website. This ensures that all the leads, regardless of where they come from, WhatsApp or the web, are stored in a single unified location.

Fallback Messaging with Session Tracking: We added fallback messaging to make sure every query is handled correctly. With built-in session tracking, users can resume conversations without re-entering previous responses. These features work together to provide a smoother, more reliable user experience.
