Grayporter is a London-based online electronics retailer that delivers premium electronics and home products at unbeatable prices across multiple countries and currencies. It uses a special “Price Engine” to find and offer electronics, home and garden items, clothing, sports gear, and more at the best market rates. With an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau, the store stands out through free 2-3 day shipping, easy return policies, extended warranties, and 24/7 customer support.
What we built?
GrayPorter came to us with a bold vision: to create a world-class eCommerce platform that could go head-to-head with the biggest players in the industry. They needed a highly engineered system built for scale, capable of managing thousands of SKUs, handling region-specific regulations, syncing across multiple warehouses, and delivering a seamless shopping experience across international markets, all wrapped in a modern, intuitive UI.
We took full ownership of the platform’s transformation, bringing in our web development services. From frontend design to backend architecture, every layer was reimagined to align with GrayPorter’s business goals. We kept key redesign factors in mind to ensure user satisfaction and conversion optimization.

Intelligent Product Filtering & Variant Selection: GrayPorter offers a premium eCommerce experience for today's savvy consumers seeking good quality products at unbeatable prices. We added intelligent product filtering to the portal for faster discovery and smart variant selectors that let users explore color, storage, and configuration options, all without leaving the page.
Multiple Payment Gateways with Express Checkout: Shoppers can now complete purchases in seconds with one-click express checkout using their preferred Apple Pay, Google Pay, Stripe, and PayPal directly from the product page. By placing the express checkout button beside each product, we cut down steps, save time, and turn interest into action in seconds. For added flexibility, GrayPorter offers Buy Now, Pay Later through Klarna and Affirm in the U.K. and U.S.
Smart Pricing Engine: GrayPorter adjusts its pricing to stay consistently competitive. Competitor rates, supply, and inventory levels contribute to delivering the lowest price guarantee. While the product range remains intentionally curated, each product comes with the guarantee of unbeatable value, without compromising on quality.
Detailed User Analytics: On the analytics side, the platform collects behavioural data via Microsoft Clarity integration, capturing session replays, click heatmaps, and scroll tracking. These insights help identify usability gaps and refine features that matter most to shoppers.
Instagram Widget: To build brand engagement, we integrated a dynamic Instagram widget via the official Instagram Graph API, bringing GrayPorter’s social presence directly into the storefront.
Mobile-Optimized Shopping Experience: Because today’s shoppers are always on the move, we’ve optimized it with mobile in mind, ensuring seamless functionality across devices without sacrificing speed or usability.
Logistics Tracking Integration: Customers can track purchases through integrated logistics tracking with DHL and FedEx, increasing post-purchase transparency.
Supporting Features: To enhance personalization and engagement, the site allows users to save multiple addresses and maintain wishlists. Customer reviews and feedback are also displayed, showcasing authentic buying experiences
Google Merchant Center Sync: To boost GrayPorter’s visibility and drive more sales, we enabled seamless integration with Google Merchant Center. This allows the team to selectively sync products with Google Shopping, keeping pricing, availability, and product listings in sync while maintaining full backend control over catalog visibility and stock accuracy.
Product & Variant Management: The product creation module gives GrayPorter’s admins full control and flexibility to define SKUs, set attributes, and configure variants such as color and model. The add product interface covers everything from product name and subcategory to GSTIN and brand, with organized tabs for pricing, images, variants, and reviews, streamlining the entire upload process.
Order Management: With a unified view and instant lookup, the order management dashboard enables admins to view, filter, and search products by order ID, name, or email. Each order entry shows payment status, timestamp, order value, and buyer details. Advanced filtering allows staff to sort orders by status, such as ‘Paid’, ‘Pending’, or ‘Cancelled’, with ease.
Customer Management: Handling high customer volumes is made simple with the customer management panel. Admins can instantly access customer profiles with contact details, signup activity, and login history. A live search feature allows rapid lookup by name, email, or phone number, supporting faster resolution and better service delivery.
Country & Currency Management: For global scalability, a country management module that handles country-specific data such as currencies, mobile codes, VAT rates, and product availability is added to the admin panel. The system supports integration with leading courier APIs (like FedEx and DHL), helping ensure timely and reliable deliveries across regions.
Warehouse & Stock Mapping: We also implemented robust warehouse integration to streamline fulfillment. Stock is now intelligently mapped to physical locations, with multiple warehouses. Admins can easily assign stock by region using the CMS panel, ensuring faster worldwide deliveries and accurate availability so customers only see what’s available near them.
